Known as the Philippines' most competitive race, the event challenges both first-timers and seasoned veterans on a fast course featuring a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike course, and 21.1 km run finishing on the iconic red carpet.
Event Date: June 13, 2027. Registration opens on September 8, 2026, at 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time (PHT).
Race as a relay team of 2 or 3 athletes across female, male, or mixed categories. All participants must be at least 18 years old on race day. Team members share a single timing chip acting as a baton during transition exchanges.
The 1.9 km swim is a rectangular clockwise ocean loop in Talomo Bay starting with a beach wave start. The 90 km bike is a 3-loop counterclockwise course along the smooth Davao City Coastal Road and Quimpo Blvd with turnarounds at Sta. Ana Wharf Bridge/Flyover, Quimpo Blvd, and Bago Esplanade. The 21.1 km run is a 2-loop counterclockwise course along MacArthur Highway and Davao City Coastal Road, finishing on the service road.
The 1.9 km rectangular swim course unfolds in the calm waters of Talomo Bay with Mt. Apo as a backdrop. Participants begin with a beach wave start, heading 100 meters to the first red buoy, turn left for 800 meters, turn right on a red buoy for 50 meters, turn right for 800 meters, and take a final right turn for 150 meters to the exit toward transition 1.
The 90 km 3-loop counterclockwise bike course starts along Davao City Coastal Road (Bago Esplanade). Riders head toward Ecoland Roundabout, taking Turnaround 1 at Sta. Ana Wharf Bridge/Flyover. After looping back, riders proceed via Tulip Dr., Ecoland Dr., and Quimpo Blvd for Turnaround 2 across Villa Oro. The course returns to Davao City Coastal Road with Turnaround 3 located 100m before Bago Esplanade at km 30 to begin the next loop. After 3 loops, athletes head to transition 2 inside Bago Esplanade.
The 21.1 km 2-loop counterclockwise run course exits transition (Bago Esplanade) onto Davao City Coastal Road toward MacArthur Highway, heading south toward Toril. Turnaround 1 is at KM 5.4 along McArthur Highway (just past JFI Bldg.). Participants head back toward Coastal Rd and make a right turn to Turnaround 2 at KM 10.8 (across Bago Aplaya Esplanade) before starting loop 2. After completing 2 loops, athletes turn right on the service road to the finish line.
Expect warm conditions on race day:
Davao City is the largest city on Mindanao, close to Mount Apo, the country's highest peak, known for its durian and its large green spaces, and for being outside the main typhoon belt. The climate is tropical: it is warm and humid all year, with a drier period from about January to April and rain through the rest of the year. The drier months are the best for racing, with early starts. The sea is warm for swimming. Francisco Bangoy International Airport serves the city.
