Race the 2027 Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Chattanooga, Tennessee — spectacular by nature with rivers, hills, and unforgettable scenery.

On Course Hydration & Nutrition
Maurten Gels: Official Hydrogel Sports Fuel (GEL 100 and GEL 100 CAF 100 with 100 mg caffeine) is available on-course, delivering 25 grams of carbohydrates per serving.
Precision Fuel & Hydration: PH 1000 electrolyte drink delivers 1,000mg of sodium per litre to help maintain sodium balance. Served pre-mixed in bottles on the bike and in paper cups on the run.
Visa Letter Inquiry
An invitation letter for VISA applications can be provided upon request. Please submit your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Role (Athlete/Support Crew/Family), Passport Number, Passport Issuing Country, Issue Date, and Expiration Date.

City insight: Chattanooga
Chattanooga is a city in south-east Tennessee on the Tennessee River, surrounded by ridges and mountains, with a riverfront, a large outdoor scene and a well-known Ironman event. The climate is humid subtropical: summers (June to August) are hot and humid, autumn is mild and colourful, winters (December to February) are cool, and spring is warm. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for racing. Hills are a feature of the bike and run courses. The city has an airport, and Atlanta is about two hours away.

What is the Para Open Division Drawing?
World Championship Para Open Division Drawing is available to athletes with a medically verified physical, visual, or neurological impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, and athletes with an intellectual disability. Eligibility requirement for athletes with intellectual disabilities can be found in Section 8.06 of the IRONMAN Competition Rules.
Can I transfer my World Championship entry to another event?
The withdrawal policy for the event is in effect. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before 45 days prior to the event to be eligible for a partial refund. Deferrals and transfers are not permitted.
How many slots are there for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship?
For details on the number of slots reference the Slot Allocations listed on the event websites. A minimum of one slot will be provisionally allocated to each Age Group category based on the start list (both male and female). Final slot allocation will be determined on race day based on the number of official starters. Final slot allocation shall be representative of the actual number of Age Group starters in each category in the race.
